This original holiday ballet is sure to delight.

On a cold New Year's Eve, a poor, young girl tries to sell matches to the townspeople in the street. She is already shivering from the cold, and she is walking barefoot having lost her slippers.  Still, she is too afraid to go home, for fear that her father will be mad at her for not selling any matches. The Little Match Girl lights the matches to warm herself.  In their glow she sees several lovely visions.

When the Little Match Girl lights Match #1, she looks into the window where she sees a holiday party. Families are dancing, feasting and having fun.  Before long, the match goes out and the Little Match Girl is once again cold.

When she lights Match #2, the Little Match Girl looks into the window of a Toy Shoppe where many different toys come to life!  There are Dancing Dolls, Toy Soldiers, Jack-in-the-Boxes & even a silly Toy Maker. Before long, this match goes out as well and the Little Match Girl is once again very cold.

Since nobody will buy her matches, she lights the the 3rd and final match. The Little Match Girl envisions a Patisserie where the yummiest treats (Peppermints, Cotton Candies, & Bon Bons) dance for her.

When this match goes out, the Little Match Girl is so cold, she lays down to sleep.  In a glorious dream-like state, the Little Match Girl dreams of adorable Reindeer, Snowflakes, Cherubs & Angels before she is wrapped into a warm blanket and taken home to celebrate the New Year.
